An imaginative natural play area based on the precept of a large meteor wieghing 57 tonnes and 3.5m in diameter gouging a trough through the open space, felling trees in its path, together with smaller boulders and cobbles. The use of bound gravel and sand provides an interesting and adventurous area for creative play.
The logistics of transporting and placing the large boulder on this prestigious project was challenging but rewarding.
