We were a named landscape sub contractor by London Borough of Camden, on a multi-million pound concrete repair project on this 1960s built estate, cut into the hillside adjacent to Highgate Cemetary.
All existing planting and soil was removed to facilitate concrete repairs and water-proofing of concrete podium. Upon completion of the builders works, over 6000 shrubs were planted with all new soil compost and mulch, liaising with main contractor's programme. A great deal of interest and involvement was taken by the residents on the estate and they subsequently entered the estate for the Camden in Bloom competition, winning a silver award in July 2009.
